Katrina Help Wiki

This site has been mentioned in quite a few blogs, and for good reason.

What they're doing is combining a lot of forum sites into one searchable database. Specifically, forum entries where someone is looking for someone else in the aftermath of Katrina. To find someone, all you'll have to do is enter their name. The searchable portion isn't available yet, as right now they're just making the database.

The cool part is this: anyone can help.

There's a slight learning curve if you've never worked with a wiki (I hadn't), but once you get the hang of it (and leave a few pages open for reference), it's a really easy way to make a difference.

Whether you have or haven't donated money, this is a really easy way to donate your time.
