You Know What I'm in the Mood For?
Short Circuit 2.
It's been a while since I've seen it and I miss it. I saw a [crappy] movie starring Ally Sheedy and it reminded me of Johnny 5. But Short Circuit 2 is better than the original.
"Los Locos kick your teeth! Los Locos kick your face! Los Locos kick your butt into outer space!"
Anyway, there are three movies that I have high hopes for right now: A Sound of Thunder, War of the Worlds, and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
In my opinion, the only movie with a disappointing trailer is Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, but it's Tim Burton and Johnny Depp, so there's still hope.
A Sound of Thunder is my favorite short story, and it looks like they elaborated on the story -- which is really necessary to make a movie out of it. They had better make it good.
Or else.
Lastly, the trailer for War of the Worlds looks totally awesome, and it's directed by Spielberg. I think it'll be a hit with the right target audience.
Anyway, I need to go return The Hulk. Bleh.

I was just thinking about that quote from Short Circuit. If you are a fan of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory will probably be a disappointment. War of the Worlds was just horrible. Tom Cruise manages to run away while everything around him is getting turned to dust. As far Sound of Thunder I have yet to see it.
